Impact Report

JULY 1, 2022 - JUNE 30, 2023

President’s Statement

Jennifer L. Owens President & CEO, HealthMPowers

Welcome to HealthMPowers’ 2022-23 Impact Report, a testament to an extraordinary year of transformation and impact. In 2023, we embarked on a bold journey: Aspiration 2025, focusing on six key strategies to champion healthy habits and transform environments where children live, learn, and play. Against the backdrop of challenging external forces, we achieved significant milestones such as the groundbreaking success of our inaugural Youth Advisory Board, merging physical health with mental wellness, and embedding health equity principles across all our programs. We fortified our data and evaluation systems and unveiled a fresh website, enhancing access to our mission and resources. As we reflect on these achievements, we are deeply grateful for your generous support, which made it all possible. We look forward to another year filled with hope, possibility, and continued impact.

Thank you for being with us on this exhilarating journey.

About

HealthMPowers

HealthMPowers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving children, youth, and families in communities across Georgia. Through dynamic physical activity and nutrition education programs, we tackle the root causes of preventable chronic diseases linked to poor nutrition and lack of physical activity. Our partnerships with schools and organizations in under-resourced communities ensure equitable access to the tools needed for securing a healthy future for young people. Tailored to the unique needs of each population, our programs aim to instill positive lifelong habits, removing health as a barrier to a young person reaching their full potential.

Our Mission

To champion healthy habits and transform environments where children live, learn, and play.

Build a clear, trusted, and recognized brand identity that communicates our mission, vision, and values to our key audiences.

Working with HealthMPowers has truly been a

delight. While working on the rebrand, we wanted to capture the fun and heart that goes into the organization, so we went with a playful, vibrant color palette and loose handwritten accents to convey the HealthMPowers spirit. We feel the new energetic and cheerful branding is a perfect representation of the org and we love partnering with this team!
